My favorite Oatmeal SunButter Protein Shake

Last Updated:

We should always keep in mind, that protein is an essential macro-nutrient for us athletes to support great recovery, performance and oftentimes it is a real time saver. For me personally, I don't do the post-workout shake all the time. My favorite protein shake is my first meal in the morning.

Having an oatmeal protein shake for breakfast keeps me on point with my nutrition in the morning while making it easy to avoid unhealthy fast food alternatives for a quick meal on my way to work.

My breakfast protein shake with SunButter

There are many ways to make your breakfast healthy and delicious but today I will share my favorite recipe where I prepare the shake with SunButter.
SunButter is a sunflower seed spread, made from GMO-free sunflower seeds. SunButter has less saturated fat, less sodium, less sugar, no trans fats, and more vitamin E, fiber, zinc, and iron and it tastes so delicious. I’ve been using SunButter for a lot of different things for example when I'm baking my favorite cookies. If you are wondering why I'm using SunButter and nothing else, it's because a 2-teaspoon serving of SunButter boasts about 7 grams of protein, which is around 14 percent of your daily recommended intake. No Sugar Added, and Organic. SunButter is free of the top 8 allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, fish, shellfish, and soy), making it a safe, nutritious, and delicious substitute for peanut butter.
